Asus ZenBook Flip 13 UX362F Review:

ZenBook Flip 13 Body

The Notebook ZenBook Flip 13 PC is made of Aluminum chassis with a premium Design feel that itself feels solid but still very much lightweight that you can carry anywhere. Also due to its compact design & 13.3inch Display size, Asus have made it mobile.

Hinges are strong and steady that don’t lose themself and you feel secure while flipping it or using it as a tablet come PC.

I didn’t felt any Flex while typing or applying pressure on it but one thing I notice is that you cant open the Laptop from hand when it turned off & you have to use both your hands to open the cap-screen.

Somehow it’s good but at the same time, I think it should have been smooth to open the lid as being a Notebook PC.

Asus Convertible Flip 13 UX362F Display-

The Display of ZenBook Flip 13 is also one of its good parts, talking of its touch response is so good & smooth that it can beat any Compatible Flip 360 Degree Notebook easily. It’s 13.3″, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS LCD with great viewing Angles and No-Loss Vision performs best.

Due to sleek bezels that cover around 90% of the Screen-to-Body ratio, you feel like cinematic viewing on this 13inch screen. Although at this price I was expecting it to be AMOLED Panel but LCD at Full HD doesn’t feel bad at all.

Asus FlipBook 13 Performance-

When buying any PC or Laptop so most matters are its performance in which ZenBook Flip 13 does a great job coming with Intel i5 8th Gen CPU with Intel 620 Internal graphics that can handle all-purpose multitasking without any lag powering 8GB LPDDR3 RAM & 512GB HDD PCIE G3X2 SSD onboard.

But if you thinking of Gaming on this machine then it isn’t possible as its not a gaming machine for sure like HP Spectre where you cant play games like pro still sometimes a decent amount of gaming at Medium or Low Specs can work on it like CS: GO at medium setting gives around 50-60fps & PUBG Mobile on Emulator around 30-40fps at 720p.

Network speed is also decent on this machine as I was able to get 2-3mbps WiFi speed which I don’t get usually so it picks up good speed & even file transfer & BT Transferring is Fast too (not AF).

I liked Asus worked on Energy Star Tech that helps the machine to consume low power & also empowers battery backup which gave me around 7-8hrs usage in a single charge without gaming & 3-3.5hrs time with gaming.

Ports selection on ASUS Flip 13 UX362F:

The model that I received with i5 8th gas 2-Type C Ports on the right & DC-in Charging port at Left we get Headphone Jack, Power LED &n Power Button that’s it where on i7 variant you get more options to explore.

Although I was expecting some more port options here for a person loaded with TypeC can fit fine with it.

ZenBook Flip 13 Security options:

Security in any device is really important but mostly on a PC or Laptop we get PIN or Password options but on ASUS Flip 13- (Digital Trends) you get FaceLock compatibility with IR Face Detection that even work in Dark conditions like POCO F1, its fast, secure & 100 out of 95 times it worked perfectly (but Fingerprint scanner could also be included).

The camera can be used as a Webcam for sure with the support of 720p clicks.

For software security, you get McFee free when you Pucrcchase 1yr pack.

Sound Output on ZenBook Flip 13:

System certified by Harmon Kardon & SUS SonicMaster stereo audio system with surround-sound smart amplifier for maximum audio performance including Array microphone with Cortana voice-recognition support & 3.5mm headphone jack support makes it worth it. In my tests Vocals were clear, the bass is nice, tribbles are good too and overall Voice Quality is pretty decent.

Due to the positioning of the Speakers, it gets dumped when you put it on a surface because they are lower facing, in my opinion, side-face could be a better option for better output.

Keyboard, Touch-Response & Mousepad on ZenBook Flip 13:

A major thing that relies on a PC or a Notebook system is its response through its Keyboard, Touch & Mousepad but if I talk about this particular Boy so it comes with Chicklet style keys with adjusted backlight (3lvl) & great touch-response feedback from the screen & even mousepads is smooth with 4-finger touch controls (like-scroll, menu open, etc.) therefore overall it makes it a complete package.

Pros & Cons

  • Strong Built
  • Tactile Keyboard
  • Amazing Touch Response
  • Fast Face Unlock with IR Technology
  • Great Sound Quality
  • Come with SSD
  • Sexy Design
  • Good Battery Backup
  • Decent File Transfer Speed
  • Good Connectivity
  • Not for Gaming
  • Fewer Ports Option
  • No Finger Print Scanner
  • No AMOLED Display
  • Hard Hinges
  • No GPU
  • Less Color Options

Opinions & Pricing of Asus ZenBook Flip 13 (Honest):

All n all I pretty much like it if I suggest to anyone but one thing that’s mysterious for me is its World Facing Camera that I don’t think has any use.

Pricing of Asus UX364F is Rs.76,660 that is decent compare to some other brands. Although its 2020 but the Laptop contains DDR3 RAM Pack which is a drawback for the Notebook hence it’s not a cheap device but ASUS has been very trusted in my personal experience.

I liked the Notebook PC Convertible 13 Laptop but due to some of its drawbacks, I don’t recommend it to everyone because as I said it’s not a Cheap Machine and performance-wise, built, mobility all is nice in this still as being a DDR3 device I suggest to look at ASUS Flip 14 instead that can work more precisely for you.

So this was my review about the ASUS ZenBook Flip 13 Laptop and I hope you liked it if you did then do share us and follow us on social media.

  • I think that there is difference in physical appearance of both i5 and i7 much I have searched I found that i5 version doesn't have that number pad option as of i7 version. Can you please clarify the difference between i5 and i7 version of this laptop.

    • Yes, you are right, there is a difference between both in designs like on i7 you also get Fingerprint Reader and Numpad integrated into Touchpad so there is a difference but the price also raise up considering that although its already a few years back model so if you searching then you can look for Flip 14 or other series as well.
