Mi 10i is a rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. But according to Xiaomi India, Mi 10i is an extension of Mi 10 lite and is tweaked and customized for India, that’s why Mi 10i is claimed to be made in India by India for India, India India- Bharat mata ki jai Vande Mataram [sorry galti see idhr udhr nikal jata hu] but here (I) stands for India in Mi 10i. Ya, that’s true that Note 9 Pro 5G isn’t Indian and its the almost same replica but forget it that’s in China.

Should I buy now?- Opinion
The real question which I think most people would love to know is, should I buy this device because as per reviews its a great device, comes with so good specs and the pricing of Xiaomi Mi 10i is decent as well. Price can be cutoff if you have ICICI Cards or EMI option. After the discount price you can expect around 2000 direct off on all models available, 6/64-₹19000, 6/128-₹20000 & 8/128-₹22000.
If ask personally so yes just go for it because it is a good device if you get it under 19K and can perform well for sure because what it provides at the rate is just amazing as midrange killer.
Camera & Performance of Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G looks dope so through that we can say this is a good choice, but if we move according to reports so tweaks are done on this model before bringing it to India just for Market concerns and price is increased by around Rs.1500-2000 that was surprising as everyone was expecting it to be under 20K segment.
As being one of the first 5G Smartphone under this price segment, Xiaomi have done a good job on this one where Realme leaks are also coming of Realme X7, the competitor of Mi 10i.

Mi 10i Trolls after Launch, some Tweets you should look at…
— Fresh Founder (@fresh_founder) January 5, 2021
Seems like making Mi nervous after this thing right?, but come on its fun to have like this as it was a huge mistake by the company for sure, still, people were complaining that Mi10i should by like I, not i for India (agree!) but its ok. What matters is you are getting a decent device at a good price after discount (but after discount) without discount its just OKah types.
