MIUI 11 has been officially announced by Xiaomi with Redmi Note 8 Series Launch, but what could you expect from the MIUI 11? MIUI 11 on Redmi K20/K20 Pro New Features (Exclusive):
- New Minimalistic Design- This time MIUI 11 will give you more elegant design with a kinda stock Pure Pearl white Feel which brings content in the centre that looks authentic.
- Always On Display- With MIUI 11 you are going to get Always on Display option where Features like- Dynamic Clock Screens, Kaleidoscopic Patterns, Flower Blossoms can be set at your Lock Screen.
One thing here to mention is that Mi has confirmed that the Always On Display is gonna be Battery Saving not a Juice sucking feature.
- Side Ribbon Glow Notify- +1 to add in Always-On-Display is that this time Xiaomi is providing Notify Glowing Side Bar option, means when notification will be there the side corners of the Phone starts glowing & you will see light through them or some pattern.
- LED Notification Light Enabled- For all the K20/K20 Pro users now LED Notification will blink where it should be, instead off at the Top of Pop-Up Camera, it will blink at the Top Right Central Corner.

All these Updates were for only Redmi K20 & K20 Pro users not for the other users.
MIUI 11 Updates & Features on other Devices:
- Dark Mode Yeah!- MIUI 11 will bring you the most awaited Dark Mode for all the users which can be upgraded to it, so now a classy Black Man Design can be seen soon.
- Video Wallpapers- New MIUI Update brings an option of Video Wallpaper as well, where you can set your Favorite Video as your Wallpaper on the Homescreen.
- Floating Calculator- We all are Calculative and that’s why Latest MIUI 11 Update brings Floating Calcy option, this means whether you are Chatting, making Notes, etc. you can use Calculator anytime.
- Quick Replies- We know that MIUI gives us accessibility to Pickup calls while Gaming on Phone but now we can receive calls Quickly even while watching a Video & not only this it works with Messages as well, as a Side Pop-Up will appear for the reply.
- Docs Preview- By this, you can see a Doc in preview mode without even opening it (with WPS partnership).

Roll-out Schedule of MIUI 11:
So in the Phase 1, devices like POCO F1, Redmi K20, Redmi 7A,etc are listed where the new Champ (The REDMI Note 8 Pro is set at the end), now why Mi has done this, well Official says that it depends on the Device Testing as Note 8 Pro has time to come up with the MIUI11 for a stable base but all others are tested and will be pushed soon as per schedule.
